ATA Tigers

A MARTIAL ARTS BLUEPRINT FOR HEALTHY CHILD DEVELOPMENT

The ATA Tigers program is designed exclusively for our Preschool and Kindergarten age students (Ages 4-6). These classes are designed to improve your child’s fine motor skills, while enhancing their ability to pay attention and follow directions.

All classes are taught using the most safe, fun, and engaging instruction methods available to assist your child’s progress and feel like a winner! Research shows that most children this age have a 5-7 minute attention span. Our fast paced, 30 minute ATA Tiger classes move from one activity to the next quickly to help ensure each student stays on task.

Each class has a consistent structure, so our seasoned students know what to expect, and more importantly what is expected of them. Our main goal is to prepare our students for the challenges of first grade, and beyond. Imagine sending your child into first grade, knowing they have 2-3 years of preparation under their belt!

Our ATA Tigers program works in conjunction with our ATA Karate for Kids program. Students learn everything our older students do, but at a pace that better fits their abilities. Each standard belt level is divided into 2 different levels, with 2 different belts designed to motivate our younger students. This helps to teach our students the concept of personal victory that comes from hard work and perseverance!

At the heart of the ATA Tigers program are the nine awesomely-animated characters who in story form, train with the students.  Each character has a distinctive personality that can be used to help teach life lessons to Tiger students.
